Pros:This camera was super affordable. It captures well, picture is pretty clear, very configurable in regards to picture quality/output. Allows for 50 or 60Hz in case you're in Europe. Arrived fairly fast. Super easy to install, comes with clear instructions. Intel high definition audio driver windows 10 hp.
Cons:I'm running a fairly old computer (2.4 gigahertz Pentium 4), but I've had my system hit 100% cpu usage and stay there, then slow down to an absolute crawl forcing restart 5 or 6 times when I have tried to initiate cam chat on AIM with this product. Could just be my lame system, but I don't know. It does have a base capable of clipping to the top of a laptop, though I only have a desktop. The base is really light, and just trying to set it down and use it, the weight of the cable is enough to cause the camera to shift around until I get it perfect positioned. I don't know if this is typical with most webcams, since this is my first, but it has a fairly narrow field of view and cannot zoom out to capture more of the room. Plus, at a frame rate of only 30 fps (about average among webcams, I believe), it's functional, but don't count on high quality home videos of you and your girlfriend in action. :)
